High-pressure head
The cutting head is an essential part of the entire waterjet system. KIMLA machines are equipped with a high-pressure head from Hypertherm. All components of the head are designed and manufactured with extremely narrow tolerances to ensure perfect connection of components with maximum precision and reliability. On KIMLA waterjet machines with Hypertherm 50 HP pumps, you can use 0.014 "(0.36 mm) orifices and 0.040" (1.016 mm) mixing tubes. Other manufacturers, using smaller pumps, can only use the tube up to 0.030 '' (0, 76 mm) and flanges to 0.010 '' (0.254 mm), which directly reduces the cutting performance.
